Recent Review For Fortune High Tech Marketing:
We purchased the Protect America alarm system thru Fortune High-Tech marketing, and it has been a nightmare.  After our first year of service we wanted to cancel our services, because we no longer had a need for the alarm system.  Upon calling FHTM, they gave us the number to Protect America directly.  Not thinking anything of it, I called the company to cancel thinking that we had fulfilled our contractual obligations.  We were informed by the rep at FHTM, that this would not be a problem.  All of our agreements were signed online and we never got a copy of the contract, after receiving the equipment in a timely fashion, we thought nothing of it.  To our shock, the contract was with Protect America, soley, and it was for 3 yrs not one.  I was upset to find this information out, and offered to send back the equipment.  I was informed that even if we sent the equipment back, we would still have to pay the monthly charges until the contractual agreement of 3 yrs was fulfilled.  The was never a discussion about a 3 yr contract, and we are being sued by Protect America because we refused to pay for a service that we no longer needed, even after offering to send the equipment back.  Protect America reps told us that we had been financed for this equipment and there was no way around paying for the next 2 yrs worth of service.  Lastly, if you live in the state of Florida 911 is not notified when your alarm goes off, its routed back thru Protect America's call center, and then you have to pray that someone calls the police.  Oh, and if the cops do come out, you will be charged a $75 fee for the police having to come and check on your home.  My advice, go with ADT or something else, because once that equipment hits your doorsteps (from a third party distributor/equipment doesn't come from Protect America directly), you're stuck.
